Manuscripts for the Proceedings
Authors are asked to submit manuscripts before the beginning of the conference so that refereeing can be accomplished during the meeting.
Manuscripts are limited to four pages. Submitters should use the AIP template for the U.S. standard 8.5” x 11” page in one-column format. Graphics should be 600 dpi resolution for line art, 264 dpi for halftones (grayscale), and 600 dpi for combinations (line art + halftone). Authors can download templates for Microsoft Word and LaTeX from the AIP web site at http://proceedings.aip.org/proceedings/
Electronic submission is required. Manuscripts can be submitted in one of three formats: Microsoft Word, PDF, or PostScript. Authors using LaTex are asked to generate and submit PostScript or PDF files.

Presentations
Plenary talks will be 50 minutes long, plus 10 minutes for questions. Parallel talks will be 20 minutes plus 10 minutes for questions. Both the Theater and the Forum will be equipped with
an overhead projector, a computer projector, and a slide projector, and staff will be on hand to assist speakers in setting up.
Posters
Space for posters will be four feet by four feet (1.2 m by 1.2 m). Posters should be mounted before noon on the day of presentation (see Scientific Program) and stay up until the end of
that day. Push pins will be available.
Conference attendees will view posters from noon to 2 p.m. and from 5:30 p.m. to
7 p.m.

The deadline for submission of abstracts has past. Questions concerning acceptance notification, conference registration,
